Day 1

Tashkent, arrival

Meet your dedicated driver at the airport gates, and experience a seamless transfer to the hotel for check-in and some well-deserved rest.

After a refreshing breakfast, your exploration of Tashkent kicks off with a visit to the old part of the city. Discover the Khazrati Imam Complex, home to the Kafal Shashi Mausoleum (15th c.), Barak-Khan Madrasah (16th c.), and the Muyi-Mubarak Mosque, a repository of the famous Koran of Khalif Osman and the gold hair of Prophet Muhammad. Dive into the historical ambiance of Djuma Mosque and Kukeldash Madrasah.

Upon reaching Bukhara at 11:15 AM, your driver will be ready to meet you at the station. Today's focus is on shopping in Bukhara, offering you the chance to explore top and hidden shopping spots for souvenirs and traditional clothing. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of street markets and trade domes, discovering the secrets of Bukhara's shopping scene.

Bukhara boasts several historical bazaars, each with its unique charm. Among them are Taqi-Zargaron (dome of jewelers), Taqi-Sarrafon (dome of moneychangers), and Taqi-Telpakfurushon (dome of headwear sellers). These covered bazaars have retained their significance over the years and provide an array of choices for your shopping endeavors.

Visit the Guri Emir Mausoleum, the final resting place of Tamerlane.

After breakfast, embark on a journey to Chimgan Mountains (90 km). Upon arrival, meet your local guide and take a chair cable-car lift to reach the mountain's summit, where you can relish the stunning nature views and capture memorable photos. Descend using the chair cable-car lift.

Continue your adventure to the shores of Charvak Lake. Depending on the season, engage in activities such as swimming, catamaran riding, Quadra-bike driving, and horseback riding (additional cost).
