Begin your day with breakfast at the Tashkent hotel.

Embark on an excursion through the old part of Tashkent, visiting the religious complex Khasti Imam, which includes the Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum (XV century), Barak Khan Madrassah (XVI century), and Muy-Mubarak Mosque—a repository of the renowned Quran of Khalif Osman and the gold hair of Prophet Muhammad. Explore the Dzhuma-mosque of Khodja Akhrar Vali.

Continue the excursion through the new part of Tashkent, visiting the State Museum of Applied Arts of Uzbekistan, the Monument of Courage, the monument to the fallen of World War II, and Independence Square.

Tashkent - Bukhara. Wednesday

At 07:00, transfer to the railway station for an 08:00 train to Bukhara.

Upon arrival at 11:20, be transferred to Bukhara and check-in at the hotel (available after 12:00).

Embark on a city tour in Bukhara, visiting the Ismael Samani Mausoleum (the tomb of representatives of Samanids’ Jeweler at the end of IX – beginning of X), Chashma Ayub Mausoleum, Bolo-Hauz Mosque, Citadel Ark – a city within a city, and the Poi Kalon Ensemble (Pedestal of the Great), the religious heart of Sacred Bukhara, which consists of Minaret Kalon, Kalyan Mosque, Miri Arab Madrassah, Ulugbek’s Madrassah, Madrassah Nodir Divanbeghi, Abdul Aziz Khan Madrassah, Magoki-Attori Mosque, Lyabi-Khauz Ensemble, and Kosh-Madrassah Ensemble (consisting of two resisting Madari-Abdullakhan Madrassah (Abdullakhan’s mother) and Abdullakhan Madrassah). Explore Chor-Minor (four minarets).

Explore the Mausoleum Chor-Bakr, and visit the summer residence Sitorai Mokhi Khosa. Here, you can witness where the Emirs of Bukhara spent their time during long and hot summers, taking a rest. Enjoy the opportunity to feed some bread to peacocks and make a pilgrimage to holy sites.

Bukhara - Shakhrisabz - Samarkand. Friday

Embark on a drive to Shakhrisabz (270 km, 4 hours).

In Shakhrisabz, partake in a city tour that includes the ruins of Ak-Saray Palace, Dor-ut Saodat Complex, featuring Khazratiy Imam Mosque and Jahongir Mausoleum, and the Dor-ut Tillavat Complex, comprising Gumbazi-Seiidan and Kok Gumbaz Mosque.

Continue the journey to Samarkand (110 km, 2 hours).

Take part in a workshop on the manufacturing of silk paper (handmade).

Later in the day, transfer to the railway station for the train to Tashkent (17:00 – 19:10).
